Default E9X M3 DCT question

To anyone with the above, have you experienced a false lauch mode?

I was at a set of lights the other day. In the mood so M button had been on. For me that's traction off, S6, etc. I selected first when the lights turned green and the bastard thing did partial launch without me requesting! Rear axle felt like it wanted to come through the floor as it loaded up and a split second later decided "oh no, you don't want launch control" and all was calm again.

Anyone heard of something like that? My dealer tried to sidestep but I've made them aware I want a full diagnostics check when I get back off holiday in acouple of weeks.

Yeh I experienced the same thing, I just kept my foot in like an animal and jettisoned into the horizon

It did worry me, but I think it's just a characteristic of the beast, that's if we are talking about the same thing.

If you lifted off slightly then it does seem to cancel it.
Just keep your foot in old boy, that's what warranty is for

Ah, I'm not alone then. Thanks Shane. I would have kept my foot in but it might not have been appreciated by the chap a couple of meters in front of me at the time!

LOL @ Nathan. £6k a box for a DSG clutch change isn't it?
