I keep looking at these........but then the voice in my head keeps saying....
1. I've really only driven the CSL at 5/10ths and there is plenty to "discover" still... 2. IMO CSL's are WAY cooler than GT3's, though I accept it is widely acknowledged that the Porsche is the better car... (sit tight, learn how to drive properly and maybe RS in a couple of years) Last edited by Yanto; 01-04-2011 at 12:09 AM. |

Much like you are thinking, I only sold the CSL because I had driven the CSL 100% of my ability, next step was the barriers. It was and always will be the best car I have ever owned, Drive it to its full potential then move on, GT3 IMO is the logical step. RS, IMO is not worth the extra outlay, you will be nearly as quick in a normal GT3. |

Keep the CSL, get more to the 10/10 stage, then the 997 GT3 will have shed some more value?

Lovely looking car, i've always had a soft spot for GT3's however, are they really worth 10k on a good CSL? I'm not so sure.
Personally, i'd wait and get a 997 GT3 in the future, the 996 looks a little dated now imho of course. Still a fantastic car, and i'm sure it would be lovely to wake up and get one out of the garage in the morning |

Unless you live on a racetrack, I'm not sure the GT3 is worth the additional outlay. They're horrible road cars frankly, unless of course the road is billiard table smooth.
Running costs are also in a different league. Still loved mine, but I'm fairly certain I love the CSL more.
