Default Wheel bolts with spacers

Hi ,
Looking for some advise on length of wheel bolts. I have 10 mm spacers on front and 15mm spacers on rear. Im replacing my locking wheel nuts( and existing bolts) as I once had to drill them out after a track day. My locking wheel nuts are currently +15mm on front and rear, the current rear wheel bolts are +20mm and the front wheel bolts are +10mm. In theory i should buy +10mm for front and +15mm for the rear. Is there any negative benefit from fitting +15mm on front and +20mm on rear.

cheers
Derek

Hi Derek

OE wheel bolts are 26mm so if you have 10mm spacers you will require 36mm bolts and for the 15mm spacers will require 41mm. Check out CA Automitive: http://www.ca-automotive.co.uk/single_prod-cHJvZF9pZD00ODcmY2FyX21ha2U9Ym13JmNhcl90eXBlPWU0Nm 0mY2F0X2lkPTE5JmNvbXBfaWQ9OA==.html
or give Roy/Phil a call.

Don’t use wheel bolts that are too long as on the rear they can pass into the parking brake drum and cause mayhem and the front they can interfere with sensors.

I hope that helps and good luck.

Thanks for your help much appreciated. Shimmy had pointed me to CA. I phoned them today and ordered the correct size of bolts.
