Default light weight bucket seats

anyone know of any seats you could fit that are really light weight?

sorry one thing, once fitted they must be illegal for the road and this includes weekend trips to the ring where you wont be allowed on ??

I hope Northern Jim browses shortly

I'd quite like to know too as i'm thinking of upgrading mine but don't want to fit the HANS equipped seats as the Ring don't allow them on TF days...

I do hope Jim will pop along soon and help answer this question...

Steve Recaro do a fiberglass PP shell at 7kg and a carbon kevlar at 4.5kg. Sidemounts, baseframes & possibly runners are needed after, so pick carefully if weight is a concern.

Recaro offer an FIA and ABE model. FIA complies to racing standards and road use in UK but ABE is manufactured for regulations for German road use.
