De-Icer, thoughts?
I'm sure like most of you, I keep my CSL in the garage throughout the year and moreso in the winter. So I NEVER have the problem of frozen windows, frost or snow. However, now I live with her indoors in Northern Ireland, she's up and away to work early in the morning she's having to put up with frost and snow.
Now, as most of you know, I work abroad and therefore out of the country for more than 6 months of the year. While at home, I either A: Put the car in the garage and get it out in the morning for her or B: Scrape the windows for her before she heads off to work in the morning. However, out of sheer laziness while I'm away she won't put the car in the garage in the evenings and as she's always running late or see previous about laziness, she sprays the windows with De-Icer. I've never used it on any of my cars but I remember my parents using it when I was young. How safe it is on the paintwork? I know she should be careful and keep it on the glass but when in a hurry, she can be hashy. As we all can. I've only another 2 weeks and then it'll be going in the garage every night, fcuk getting up at 0730 to defrost the car every morning on my holidays, |

Aye, that'll do. As long as it's 'just' when I'm away. Can't be having you drinking my beer while I'm around.
