Default Csl brakes

After years of saving I have bought my dream car, an m3 csl in black!!
I had a standard e46 m3 and loved it, however i did think the brakes where a bit pants for such an awesome car, however the discs where a bit on the worn side.
I was expecting the csl brakes to be up graded and also the fact that the car has only covered 25000m, a lot fresher. they are not!
I was interested to see if anyone had any tips for improving things without shelling out thousands on big brakes ect. many thanks. Stu.

My car had this setup with pagid 19's before i bought ap's and there is very little difference in my opinion except a bit less fade if your going to track the car

Same for me braided lines decent pads and fluid, and the standard brakes are just fine for me anyway

There should be a world of difference between standard sized kit albeit with uprated discs/pads and an ap kit. Did you ever get your car on track?

Frankly if its just road use you'd never see the benefit of APs or Alcons.

I bought the ap's before I went on track, maybe i should have done a day on track before buying ap's.

Trouble is Derek, as Curly will tell you, when you start you need APs bit then as you get better and learn to brake correctly, the BBK upgrade is less likely to always be necessary, depending on your style
