Hello!
Hi all,
Thought i'd better say hello, been lurking / sort of posting on here for a long time, but never showed any proper commitment! I know a few of you from the old M-Torque days (used to post under Tbmeech), but thought i'd better introduce myself! So, on friday I picked up my SG CSL, really REALLY happy, managed to get a lovely car, shame about the weather, but still managed to have a couple of blasts over the weekend. Having sold my E46 M3 at the beginning of the year (had it 5 years), I toyed with a CSL but ended up with a new Focus RS (bad move), finally realised the error of my ways, and its taken me a couple of months of searching to finally get hold of a nice CSL. Thats me, hopefully be on here a whole lot more now, well now I have a car thats acceptable |

Phoenixcsl/Tmbeech was that you I saw on some other forum singing the praises of the Focus RS a few months ago? I am sure it was on another BMW forum but then maybe it was someone else.
What happened to the Focus in the end then or do you still have it for the Mrs? Oh and welcome. Pip |

Sold the Focus, got a good price on it, which freed up my money nicely! Cheers Quote:
Focus, made of chocolate - rattled / started falling apart with only 8k on the clock, devistatingly fast in a straight line, had it remapped to 360bhp, lowered etc, but through corners was a bit too wobbly, always felt like it wanted to throw me off the road, very twitchy car thru the bends, and its as heavy as my old M3! I will say in a straight line they are so quick, still think they look great, some of the things on there like Bluetooth, Headlights and the Brakes were amazing, but I guess thats where the love affair ended. CSL was always in my top 3 affordable wish list, to me it's so much better in virtually every respect, I'm glad I tried the RS but it's funny, I feel like i've come home as soon as I sat in the CSL. |
