Busy weekend
Looking forward to this one i've got Donnington on Saturday, first time on the new track after all the nonsense that has gone on in the last year its a pity that Shimmy got stage fright and then Monday down at Silverstone on a bike track day on arena circuit. Not done this track yet and its first time in 4 years since my last bike trackday i will be sharing a bike with Mick aldo he's got 160bhp Honda Fireplace just hope I can still get the old knee down, a few of the ex CSL boys will be there Leon, Ade, Kurgen its going to be an intresting day

Have fun mate. I expect pictures of knee down, elbow down through the corners and on the exits leaving black lines, crossed up with the front wheel hovering a few inches in the air. OK? Just like Valentino.

Well what a weekend I survived Silverstone on the bike trackday got my knee down didnt crash which is always a plus, the organisers Focus wernt much cop, long briefing and loads of health and safety not that much track time due to crashes
Donny - Great to be back on the track, the surface is nice and clean not dirty of line, was good to go back down craners I had some good fun with Dunc, Neal,Twiggy,Wheels, Steve and a few of the M3 boys. The new bit at Goddards is an improvement and makes the track slightly faster, all new tarmac for 90 mtrs in that section so excellent grip on the way out. First apex on the right has got a huge curb must be avoided if you dont want to have a puncture or wreck your suspension, the second apex on the way out the curb is flat so you can take it all and a bit of grass and just at the exit there is a crest you need to be careful in the wet in a rear wheel drive car but in the dry its flat. I got down into the low 21's when there was less traffic which is not bad for the old cayman |
