Default Latest addition to the CSL toolkit !

Purchased this baby yesterday, having trailered one or two CSL's back from the Ring of late, I quite prefer it to the hard ride in the CSL, and the fact that Im on limited mileage insurance ! The Disco3 is also a great support vehicle, and taxi having 7 seats ! I can also get 3wheels on my roof rack without tying him down !! just kidding Eric !!

This trailer is capable of loading low ground clearance cars, due to being a tilt body, having a beaver tail, and also having 2 metre long ramps. We also have a cover for it, should you have the kind of vehicle deserving of such extra care and consideration !

If any member has a need of assistance at all, or wants to borrow/hire it for a trackday/Ring week-end, get in touch with me on 07768 633717.

Even if I trailer my car down to the Ring, if someone is unfortunate enough to suffer as T$ and I did, I would be willing to drive mine home and trailer yours back if you dont have recovery

One must remember, T$ gets first refusal even over your own car Duncan

That's what mates are for

The guy I dealt with over my recovery by AC DC , has put me on his suppliers list , and he was happy to pay my asking price for bringing my own car back ! ...so ... If anyone is unlucky to be stuck down there with ADAC cover, and you dont want to wait the 12~14 days for them to get you back to Blighty, give me a call !!... tell them that you car is especially low, and needs special transport solutions !!
They rang me up and asked me if they could take the bumper and splitters off mine to get it on their truck !! .... I said "sorry old chap, no can do" and a thought came into my head , feel a little bit of a cheat as my next years ADAC membership is already paid for seeing as we encountered some ..uh .. money saving solutions on the way home !! ... or maybe I got the quoted price slightly wrong .. either way I was back in a week

Is it of a "Brian James" flavour ? Pix would be good
Good way of keeping the mileage down for Ring Trips. I might have to borrow it in the near future, once I get myself an X5 What's it like towing a CSL on one of these at 90 mph

Cant you see the pix?
Towing a CSL at 90 mph is ok, did it with mine, trouble is if you do hit a bad bit of road at that speed things can get a little ...sporty ! 70 mph gives a much better fuel return, and its a lot safer and more responsible, a blowout is the main fear and you dont save that much time on the journey by giving it the beans loaded, would be a massive nick I would think in the Fatherland too
