I've been looking at the dogcam site and would also be interested in hearing some reviews.
I'd like to see how the grill cam was mounted and the resulting video footage. Maybe we could have a group buy or something??????????? |

Also have a look at:-
http://robotbirds.com/images/Flycamone2.jpg A friend has been using one of these for some time for filming track days etc.. rates it highly and the quality isnt bad. If you type in robotbirds into youtube there are some online examples. |

I've bought from these guys in the past, they are a decent company to do business with.
We run the PDR100 kit in the race cars which records MPEG2 to a solid state memtory which is ultimately the best solution we've tried so far. Also you can specify the camera/lens according to your budget and exactly what field of view you are after. PDR100 video clip - note the quality is a function of Youtube not the original recording format. For less money I've also found that Archos do a solution and that this is much more resiliant than people expect for a HD recording solution. I've run one in the racecar and had no problems with corrupt files etc which is often the fear when you are recording to a HD. The Archos camera runs off the battery in the unit itself and also there is a screen on the Archos enabling you to setup and view your video readily. This is not the case with the PDR100. Archos Video Clip - Again quality a function of Youtube not recording format. If anyone wants to know more feel free to PM me.
