Default EVO Top 100 drivers cars

CSL number 27...shame it's not a bit higher but ahead of some very good cars including Mclaren F1 at 71.....E30 M3 at 26.

These things are always interesting and prompt a variety of comments.

They sum it up in the text when they say that ALL the cars are very good and it's hard to really distinguish between them.

My only observation is the comparisons made between the 996 GT3 and the CSL (albeit on internet forums ) saying that there's not alot of in it, certainly in performance terms.

Now I've never driven the GT3, or any 911 for that matter, so a question for those on here that have is; is there much of difference in driving experience??

Definitely a different driving experience - although it would be harder to determine which was 'better'. See here:

And Clio V6 ahead of the CSL!? And there's no way that the E30 M3 should be ahead of the CSL! My old E30 M3 was nice, but certainly no where near as great a drivers car as the CSL!

EVO robbed the CSL in this feature

You are right everyone has an opinion with different views...The strange one for me was that the mrk1 GT3 came in the top 5 ahead of the 997 GT3 RS...Now I've not driven these but have been in both and the 997 RS felt the better car and made me smile alot more than the 996 mrk1......But hey what the feck do I know.

Thats interested because I would have to say that the E30 M3 Evo11 I had was a better balanced car than my CSL...OK old now and not that fast but then you don't need lots of power to have fun. Teh E30 was the perfect size for a fun drivers car.......I'm going to say again BMW should be making the 1 series coupe into an M car that the big heavy shit they bare churning out noew...X6/X5....
