Computer/Internet Technical...
Lately I've been having login issues, where I can browse ok as a guest but as soon as I try to login, this message rudely appears...
Quote: Not Acceptable An appropriate representation of the requested resource /forum/login.php could not be found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Apache/2.2.11 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.11 OpenSSL/0.9.8i DAV/2 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at www.cslregister.com Port 80 Unquote Can anyone technically minded shed any light why I was getting this for the past 4 or 5 days, then suddenly it starts working again through no action of my own? It wasn't my laptop as tried it from a couple of others onboard the ship and was getting the same error messages, it must be something to do with the server on the beach, surely. Anyway, glad to be back regardless and capable of posting again. I missed not getting my oar in, for what it's worth! |

could be server related and has nothing to do with you.
I had a similar problem but seems fine now. |

I've had the same thing recently too - but only when replying to threads using my iPhone.

Yep, same thing when using from work. OK from home just now so assumed something to do with internet settings. Have asked my IT man to look and will revert with the answer (assuming he can fix it). At the moment I can't login from work... Right PITA!

Now sorted for me. Needed a stack of updates (windows, java, activex etc) on my PC... Quite impressed by the IT Support Consultants we use. Have had two of them working on this yesterday and today! Got to get the priorities right.
It beats working... |
