Launch Control
I noticed in the CSL sales literature (which is very cool I must say, picked up a copy off ebay ) that there's a reference to launch control.
Does the CSL have it? And if so, how do you engage it? |

Push the gear stick all the way forwards, plant the accelerator to the deck, let the revs settle down, let go of the gear lever. Hang on

Might just have to give that a go! Does it automatically change gear in this mode until you manually tell it to do something different?

If you progressivley depress the accelerator, this will launch you, if you depress the accelerator to the floor this will do a burnout launch, for either you need to let the revs settle iirc |

1) you need to switch off traction control (which you should be doing anyhow!!!)
2) switch gear shift ferocity to level 6 (which you should be doing anyhow!!!) 3) have sport button on (which you should be doing anyhow!!!) 4) push gear lever forward and hold it forward - put your foot down on the loud pedal... it only lets you build revs up half way... let go of the lever and all you will do is ruin your rear tyres having driven a F430 scud on dunsfold track recently (home of top gear) as well as other cars with launch control - i can safely say that the CSL variant is absolute sh&t - dont do it unless you are on your way to get your tyres changed anyhow
