Sports On?
A question I have always wondered & debated with others, ending up in complete confusion. Thought someone is bound to know.
Does Sports mode drink more juice when driving sensibly? When its on you seem to ease off the pedal to match the same speed, hence less throttle and less fuel??? Last edited by karbonkid; 03-05-2009 at 02:19 PM. |

No idea, but I suspect it will be less than 1 mpg if it does...
Just how much you boot it will make more difference. |

If you drive it the same as when its off, then I dont think it will make a difference.
Having said that, I always push a bit harder when its on to get the noise! |

When it is on, I find you have to work the top end less because the 'noise' starts early!...
