CSL off to France
Hey all, after nearly a year and a half of ownership my CSL is now sold and being transported to France in the coming days. It’s a car I’ve been privileged to have owned and I don’t think there will be another that ticks so many of my boxes, will it be my last? Time will tell...
Is there anything anyone would do differently selling a car to France as opposed the UK? |

I have done it before. My 22b Subaru went to a car collector in the south of France.
Make sure the cash is clear in your bank account and send away the V5 completing the permanent export section. Job done. |

I sold a 911 to a UK guy living in Paris. Just did a normal sale and then the export thing was all up to him. 2 years later and the car is back in the UK with a new owner over in Wales who I am now in regular correspondence with and we are going to meet later this year. Its kind of nice to keep in touch and to have a connection with special cars you have loved, cherished and in that case extensively developed.
