Default shock bump stops or suspension locks ?

Dear fans,
I am intrigued by this white hard plastic ring (pictures below), surrounding the yellow/beige shock bump stop on my CSL.
They do not look right, and I am wondering if these white plastic parts are not... suspension lock for transport (the dealer would have forgotten to remove them, 10 years ago ??!!)
Any idea ?
Thanks !

Look very much like the transport stops that should have been removed during PDI when new...

Surprised to see them still there, you'd have thought that someone would have spotted them on subsequent service inspections. (where there's blame, there's a claim)

Thank you guys,
Now I am confused: should I a) proudly display these suspension stops in my living room, or b) throw them on the face of the BMW mechanic who was supposed to take care of the car since 10 years...

I will go for option a) as it is more positive...
