iPhone 4s - not the most up to date but i use it constantly.
Currently it's playing music through an iHome wireless speaker, it connects to the car radio or my garage speaker via bluetooth as soon as i get in and starts playing. The iOS 7 timer switches off the music when i've dozed off (though not at the wheel!) Apps: Springpad organiser, i use that constantly on phone and Windows desktop. Waze is my sat nav of choice and it's free. Google Maps also good. HomeBudget tracks my petrol tokens and keeps me in the black inc business accounts, VAT etc Flixster tells me if a films worth watching ShoppingList means I can do the shopping in a blur without losing points for forgotten items Guitar Apps are invaluable - Chordmaster, Tune-up, Scale Wizard and Pro Tempo TuneIn Radio - excellant - if you like the Shrunken Head Lounge YouTube for how to do stuff and all the obvious and after losing both my phone AND myself recently, Find My Phone has new found usefullness! . . . and breathe . . . Galaxy S4 prob a better phone as is HTC One, but my 4s is so ingrained I couldn't be without it. Last edited by Rick H; 06-10-2013 at 08:33 PM. |

Why are those phones better? Are they more user friendly? I really do live in the dark ages. Will mainly use it for call, txt & the odd search on the internet.

The honest answer is I don't really know - i guess they're newer and faster, they both run Android which is more popular than iOS and most of the techy reviews i've read rate them. S4 is plasticky, Mrs Rick H has one, and the HTC is aluminium and feels a lot more robust. Then there are the Windows phones - it's all a bit scary!!!!!
