trickle charger question
does anyone know if you can use the cigarette lighter to charge the battery on a csl ?
ie can you use the lighter when the car is off? im buying a ctek charger and they have an adapter that i can buy .. thank you Abid |

I'm not sure but I bought the 8mm eyelets for the kit which comes with a quick connecting plug you can have permanently installed in the boot drivertly to the battery.

There is no one that owns a csl that is more lazy than me.
I was hoping to not have to open the boot once every 2 weeks or so.. Thank you for your replies , the eyelet opion is probably the safest bet |

I have mine hardwired into the boot like that, but I can't get to the boot when the car's in the garage. So if I need to attach the charger when it's already parked, I do it in the engine bay using croc clips onto the jump-start post.

I assume you reverse her into the garage in which case you can get the CTEK connectors put into the engine bay. Mine are hardwired around the boxed area in front of the steering wheel. I forget what it is now.
