Besides CSL, what you got ?
It's my only car as I don't need a daily. But I am beginning to realise I do need a snotter for duties which I want to stop using CSL for (weekend trips to tip, supermarket, motorway trips around the country to friends and family)....will start looking in next 6m
Needs to be fun, quickish but a motorway cruiser, able to carry load and something I can park on the street in East London with peace of mind. Thinking 330d, Impreza wagon / a hatch Like a Golf GTi Only stipulation is I need SMG / DSG type thing for missus. What do you use ? |

Got a E91 335d touring.
Great car. Only problem is the gearbox. They're all autos. It's ok and does the job as a daily, but annoying after the CSL's SMG. Always changes up whether in sport or not. |

I was looking for an Impreza Wagon as an all-year runabout. But couldn't find one that didn't have 'issues'.
Settled for a '05 Skoda Fabia 1.9 TDI estate. Small, frugal, torquey, practical body shape and very cheap to fix. It's got 14" steel wheels and it's brilliant and being crap enough that we don't care about it. No worries about theft, scratches, or kerbing etc. Winter tyres for it are £35 each |
