Default Service interval - Euro trip

I am not sure when it is the right time to service my car, before or after the epic Euro trip?

My last official service (oil inspection II) was carried out in July 2010 at 44k, after that the car has been driven very little until I purchased it in feb 2012.

I changed oil and oil filter at 46501 miles in aug 2012 and changed the clutch/flywheel in jan 2013 at 50159 miles.

At present the car has about 51100 miles and the on board computer tells me that the next service is due in about 5,000 miles.

What should I do? Do the trip and service it after it or doing it before the trip for additional peace of mind?
The car drives fantastically and I have no problems but I am also aware that the last service was carried out 3 years/7k miles ago.

How often should I change the oil considering a quite hard use in TDs and fast roads?
Any suggestions is highly aprecaited

Do oil before and then service after. You should change the oil after each track day. Not a hard job and not a lot of cash for oil and filter.
