Default SG CSL 72K for Sale

Sadly the time has come for me to sell my immaculate SG M3 CSL.

If you are looking for an example that’s been owned and maintained by those who care and appreciate
the rare CSL for what it is, then this is the car for you.

The car has been owned by myself since July 2008 and has performed faultlessly in that time. I have
used the car as my daily driver covering 31,000 miles in my ownership. Any issues which have arisen
have promptly been resolved under BMW warranty or resolved at my cost at BMW. Within the last two
weeks the car has had all four wheels fully refurbed by the OE wheel manufacturer Rimstock, has had
two new rear tyres, new BMW rear brake discs and pads.

Specification:

2003 03 Plate (Registered 13/08/2003)
Silver Grey
71,734 miles
Full extended BMW Warranty with zero excess and European breakdown cover; paid monthly – expires
July 2012
Tracker Monitor.
Warning triangle, towing eye, compressed air and tyre gunge all with the car.
All documents present including alcantara owners folder, folder full of receipts and invoices covering
work undertaken and the spare key.

Car comes as standard with the following optional extras from BMW:

Air Conditioning
Business CD Radio
Rear Park Distance Control

Service History - Full BMW service history with running in service completed at 1,125 miles.

Work completed during the last three years:

New clutch and flywheel fitted 3,000 miles ago.
Nearside control arm changed 12,000 miles ago and offside control arm changed 5,000 miles ago.
New steering rack.
New alternator and battery.
New rear springs.
New steering wheel paddles.
New differential.

As you can see from the above all known issues with the CSL have been replaced during my ownership
and with a new clutch and flywheel fitted 3,000 miles ago any new owner can be safe in the knowledge
that they won’t have to pay out £1,400 as the new clutch is good for at least 60,000 miles.

General Information:

Number of previous keepers – 6 including myself
MOT – 10th September 2012
Tax – June 2012
Next Service due – Inspection 1 in 2250 miles

Wheels and Tyres:

All four CSL wheels refurbed at Rimstock in February 2012 – covered only 20 miles.
19" front - 235/35/19 Michelin Pilot Sport 2 - 6 mm of tread
19" rear - 265/30/19 Michelin Pilot Sport 2 – brand new

Bodywork:

Excellent condition for age and mileage with no dents or scuffs and marks. Front bumper has never
been resprayed so does have the usual stone chips found on CSL’s due to the carbon fibre front bumper.
Carbon fibre splitters also have some stone chip markings.

Interior:

Excellent condition with no marks or wear on the alcantara seats or the steering wheel. Back of the
seats are chip free with all the matt paint intact. No marks or cracks on the rear seat shells or rear
centre console. Includes mats with no wear or staining.

In summary the car is in superb condition and has wanted for nothing. It has performed faultlessly
during my ownership; drives and feels as tight as any CSL and really is a fantastic car for any new owner.
I shall be sad to see it go – the CSL really is an iconic car which any car enthusiast should own in their
lifetime. The reason for sale is the purchase of a Porsche 911 Carerra 2S and the building of an E30 track
car.

This fabulous car can be all yours for £23,995 ono.

Thank you for reading and any questions please get in touch.

Regards

Dave

That's a beautiful looking car but just the wrong colour for me.

Do you kind if I ask how you keep your steering wheel so pristine?

I use Raceglaze alcantara cleaner. Simply spray on, leave to soak for a few mins then gently rub with a clean microfibre cloth; repeat if necessary.
