Replacement Discs for AP 6-pot BBK

Hi Everyone,

It won't be long before I need to replace the front discs on my AP Racing 6-pot BBK and i'm unsure of what to fit?

I have read all the previous threads about the Performance Friction replacements and I had all but made my mind up but then a customer mentioned that Hi-Spec Motorsport do replacement discs specifically for the AP kits in a variety of styles for less money.

See here>>>>> http://www.hispecbrake.co.uk/AP356.html

Has anyone used these discs? If so how do they compare to the AP & PF versions?

Cheers

sorry no idea

but here's some part numbers if they help

Quote:

Front AP BB KIT is CP5575-1004 (black) and CP5575-1004R2 (red)
Front AP discs are CP3581-536G8M (Right) and CP3581 -537G8M (left)
Front Pf discs are 356.32.0054.04 and 356.32.0054.03

(before AlexK chirps up the CP5555-1037 kit can be bought but uses 18mm pads and same discs as above but does not fit with 18 inch OEM rims)

Rear AP BB KIT CP5144-1002 or 1003 (standard discs) or 1004 (AP discs)
Rear AP discs CP4475-122G8 (right), CP4475-123G8 (left)

Performance Friction

With the 10% off we are offering CSLR members our replacement discs actually come out a tiny bit cheaper than the prices stated on the Hi-Spec website.

Another vote for PFC, last for ages.
