DEALER'S why do we use them ?

Took my 1M in for a new front screen after a rock hit it.

When i went to leave i see my car driving out the bay i parked it in,
Heading round the back low and behold the lad is on the phone and driving my car with 1 hand http://www.1addicts.com/forums/image...es/mad0260.gifhttp://www.1addicts.com/forums/image...es/mad0260.gifhttp://www.1addicts.com/forums/image...es/mad0260.gifhttp://www.1addicts.com/forums/image...es/mad0260.gif

Went in and said to the receptionist is this the norm ? I was told no and she took my details and reg i went on my way low and behold no phone call
I will not miss the service manager when I go to collect it tomorrow

Would you be happy with this ?

Not at all :banghead: I would have gone straight past the receptionist, to the Service desk and ask for Service manager to deal with it, there & then.
Hopefully you'll get a chance to do that when you collect it :smt066

No way I would demand compensation

Compensation for what exactly? He didn't crash it or damage it, he was just driving it badly.

Mark CSL 24-03-2016 09:03 AM

It more the fact when driving on the phone he is not paying full attention to driving if he kerbs a wheel or some one backs out and he’s not paying attention its a lot of hassle i have to go through.

i expect them to look after my car like i would for over £100 an hour :banghead:

I'm not defending him, just saying to NW99 that you can't demand compensation when you weren't actually hurt or wronged in any way.

Me neither, there is nothing to be compensated for. I would have a stiff word about it though.

I usually leave the dashcam in the car when I have it serviced, although they could easily disconnect it.

Obviously not helpful in this case.

It's a NO GO :banghead:
