All the pics where I couldn't have taken them (ie I'm driving) at thanks to Xtreme sports Photography.

Chasing pesky GT3s, this one was exactly as fast as the CSL on the straights but much slower through the twisty stuff...

Running Dunlop 'thingys' on 265 back and front (std M3 rear alloys) as I drove the car away on CSL alloys with road tyres on and these in the back seats/boot. My other set of CSL alloys with cups on had 3 good tyres and one front down to the canvas, chose the Dunlops over the Cups for today so have to pick up the other stuff this coming week.

These tyres were back left at the bottom, front left, front right, back right.

Wish I'd known about this - I'd have come along! Was bored yesterday :(

Nice pics.....the more I see black wheels the more I'm warming to them. How do the Dunlops compare to Cups then?

Nords 01-03-2009 10:54 AM

I drove a friend's on cups a long time ago, so it is hard to say. The CSL grunt was overcoming their grip on third around that triple apex right hander before the back straight (Dunlop bridge has gone! Taken down last week). Going over the first apex at about 4K and then flooring it all the way around before changing up to fourth at the redline (full LED show) on the last apex. DSC was 'feathering' around the entire corner...

I suspect they are good trackday tyres (and road legal) but not quite as good as cups. Camskill are offering them at £150 a corner too in M3 rear sized 18" (used all round)

Looks good!

So them tyres are road legal? and cost half the price of cups? Sounds good!

Are you running 18" rears on the front?

Have 'E' marks on them (although I can't see them being that good in the wet!). 265/30 ZR18 all round on those pics...

Took them there in the boot, swapped and them swapped back again before going home on 19"S...

the dunlops are better than cups in the wet last a tad longer nearly on parr with the cups in the dry but are quite noisy on the road a bit like toyo's 888
