I done a quick spreadsheet on CSL parts prices if breaking one.

It makes interesting reading IMO. If you can strip them yourself then I reckon £23k in bits.

My quick jot down sees £26k, I reckon its possible.

Aside from cat d, I think the only sub 20k car I've seen is Funtimes which was 107k miles iirc

Certainly hope not!!

Sent the guy a mail yesterday but got no reply? :banghead:

As for the CAT D, the car had new front wings and a bumper fitted, the splitters were also painted black?

Even that's not working at the moment it would seem. Had mine up at £21.5k (just under 60k, needs front end respray but mechanically spot on) for a month or so and only 2 serious enquiries.

On the plus side it means I get to keep it!

Boot floor pans? If people don't have the warranty - they may be avoiding a potential big bill. How many people know to check for this?

Barry C 14-09-2012 10:23 AM

I'd put it down to being a limited market, we're coming in to the winter, trackday season is over nearly etc.

people are saving money towards christmas etc

Don't panic guys:hahaha:

I think that could be my old car,

If it is it was in pretty good condition this time last year when I sold it and going by the millage it's not been used a great deal since.

If I had the cash I'd consider buying it back.

I went to see both yesterday (my god that was a long day!!)

Both are in pretty similar condition. I was able to take both for a spin and was pretty happy with the mechanicals of both! the only problem was it was raining when I reached Yorkshire so I had to view the first car in the wet which isn't the best when looking at the paint condition of black cars!

Just wondering, does the reg plates for the first one ring a bell to anybody by any chance??

Thanks for all your help on this site, really helped when looking at CSL's in general!

And, slightly off topic I know, but with mondial warranties, is there still the option of paying an excess when it comes to getting work done?
