Was considering this but need to find some decent caliper paint so it doesnt look tacky

Hammerite with a brush will be fine. Just thoroughly clean them first.

I've used this on loads of cars. Looks fine

red have addition layers of paint, unlike our black ones that soon discolour when used properly.
