Hi all

Finally the snowed went so i picked up the CSL from Munich Legends on Saturday, had a nice drive back to Norfolk to get aquainted with the car and i must say i love it, what a beast.

So now for the question i expect has been asked so many times before, I want a back box for it, which is the best, at present i am thjinking Supersprint but also Miltek is in there too have heard they are a bit noisy on a long journey like the Ring or Spa for instance.

I want something that sounds good but is not going to get me chucked off trackdays.

Your thoughts please.

Dicky Boy

a variety of threads on this subject if you search the sections

obviously all have their favourites but my take on this is a s follows

about a 1/3 go for Miltek, 1/3 Supersprint and 1/3 a.n other like Gruppe M.

Miltek appears to be an affordable well made product but does drone at motorway speeds so you wind a percentage take it off and swap to soemthing else

Supersprint Lightweight is not the best made and quite affordable but soudns ok but not too loud and no drone. Supersprint Race Lightweight is lighter and noisier and may get yuou checked of at Bedford Autodrome.

The others i have seen i think it fair to say can be more costly and generally are more noisey and better made and seem to go on and off like whores draws due to personal choice.

If i was buying a full system today i would go with Supersprint Race LIghtweight assuming i couldnt afford something special in titanium!!!

Go for the Supersprint Race. Some people who seem to go for the Miltek ends up in the loft or eBay & swop for the SS. I have the SS Race with OEM Cats and middle section. It pops at times esp when cold & amplifies the characteristic Rasp. Perfect for me. I could have arranged to meet at ML as I keep meaning to get over there. It sounds standard untill the boot is down then
