Default Wet Rubber

Looking to buy some tyres for wet weather track. Not a damp track but a wet one so standing water.

Been looking at the Bridgestone Potenza S02. Anyone used these?

The rules state I must comply with blue book list 1a / 1b so basically road tyres. 265/35/18's.

What you all using and how do they fair on the CSL???

Supersports?
Ps2 were always amazing in the wet if you can't get supersports.

Hi Paul.
I've used the Bridgestone Potenza SO2 (Porsche N1 speck) with great affect some years ago, both on Track & Fast road.
While it wasn't on Cecil, instead a Porsche 968 Coupe which has similar curb weight and 50:50 weight distribution to the CSL.
Goodyear Eagle F1 Asimetrico are also very good on very wet track I've done a full on wet day in my Cecil @ the old Snetterton without much drama.

Uniroyal rain sport. Had them on the golf and they gripped very well.

Goodyear eagle f1 assy 2 are also a very very good wet tyre.

Mine runs the Continentals very good in France at Circuit de Bretange in the torrential rain this year, just a few twitches other than that went really well.

Cheers guys

Really struggling with this as its a lot of cash to waste if 1st time in the rain they are shit.

If the Supersports were available in 265/18 id fit them as the 19's that's on the CSL were great.
So need good grip, easy to heat up and conforms to list 1a/b so not asking a lot.....lol

Yes Shim its for the sprints.
Lol, parking up is not an option. No point in having the car if its going to sit parked in the paddock for 50% (if not more) of the season.
