Default The 100k club

So who's rocking over 100k?

Mine rolled over a few months back and apart from not having the smoothest of changes (since the day I bought it at @81k) I've had no problems and all touch wood seems well.

Just thought I'd pull together a thread as it will be interesting to monitor reliability.

Good for you, nice to see the older ones wearing the 100k+ badge with pride!

p.s When have changes EVER been smooth in a CSL?

Sir, you need to start putting some miles on that thing! Are you coming to Munich?

I know I wanted to and had my name down but work commitments overseas have got in the way unfortunately.

Perhaps you're right but I've only ever driven one other - it was not much different - a bit less slack in the output shaft I think. I'm hoping a few tweaks like decent oil will improve matter and saw some thread about clutch actuators and release bearing sleeves that might improve things too... Would love to have a go in a really low miler to see what they could be like at their very best.

My last E36 M3 Evo had over 160k miles on it - was still going strong when I sold it - dyno around that mileage still showed bang on 316bhp averaged over 5 runs. (for all the dyno haters, I'm not willy waving or saying the engine really had exactly 316bhp - just that if a dyno shows the factory figure after 160k miles, you don't have a problem)

Have yet to dyno the CSL.

Shame! but, I guess it'll still be there when you're back, and it's only going up in value

Mine's about 67k, bought at 65k. Took a photo of the odometer at 66666, coincidentally happened on my drive!
