CG Lock- Group Buy - UPDATE!!
update go to their website http://www.cg-lock.co.uk/ , and on their ordering screen, enter "M3CSL" into the discount box to get the discount applied to your order.
I know some of you already have a CG Lock, but for those that don't, check out the website. http://www.cg-lock.co.uk/ I have tried one and was impressed at the difference such a simple item could make. The retail prices are: £49 for 1 (delivered), & £84 for 2 (saving £14). From their website: "Why buy 2 or more? After using their CG-Lock, many customers return to buy a second, third or fourth CG-Lock for the passengers, other cars or as a great gift for family or friends (great for maintaining proper posture and booster seat stability in rear seats). So why not buy 2 now and make a significant saving? There is nothing to loose as we offer a full money back guarantee if returned within 30 days of purchase." I have contacted CG Lock about a group buy and am waiting to hear back on what they can offer us. So is anyone interested?

I was impressed and will be getting 2, so that any passenger can feel 'secure' as well.
I am sure that people have mentioned them on here before somehwere, so any owners got a review for us? Just read some of the reviews..... http://www.cg-lock.co.uk/reviews/ One notable review from the MLR: “Mitsubishi Lancer Register” Official Magazine (October 2006) "The CG-Lock basically fixes the lap portion of your normal everyday seat belt, and it secures your lower half from the waist down into your seat, and depending on the tension you want it stops your lower body from moving, at all." "On track, or in this case the Nurburgring, you need to be strapped in, and tight!! Well the CG-Lock is brilliant!! Pulling the belt nice and tight before you set off, really pulls you back into your seat, and leaves you full control of your arms and legs where you are able to make quicker and more precise reactions as these extremities are now lighter and free on the controls, and importantly not bracing you."

I use one on track only.
I'm not gonna claim that it makes a huge difference to the overall driving experience but it does keep you located in your seat quite well and not shifting about so much during cornering and hooning! I suppose the acid test is that whilst whizzing around a track, you wouldn't even know that it was fitted as it is not intrusive in any way. I think it is benificial and relatively cheap, you just have to make sure you fit it carefully as to minimise wear/fraying to the seatbelt. Oh, and when removing your seatbelt after use be very anal in assisting the reel retraction back in as you will scuff and damage the driver door CF panel each time otherwise! Hope this helps? |

Right people, here is the deal:
CG Lock will sell them to us for a very reasonable £34.99 delivered. Which I think is outstanding value given that the MRP is £49 delivered. They have set it up so that using the link you will be taken to their ordering screen and the discount will already be applied. I have just used it to order myself two locks and it works!!! Order placed! Until the direct link is posted here (MArk you have an email), go to their website http://www.cg-lock.co.uk/ , and on their ordering screen, enter "M3CSL" then put it in the discount box to get the discount applied to your order. Also, for every unit sold after the 1st 50 units sold (assuming we buy that many), they will contribute £2 per unit to CSLRegister.com. Now that is nice. So get ordering!!! The bad news, this offer expires on March 31st, so get those orders in now people. That is all.
