Default Window Switch Trim Removal

This is how to change the window switch trim I am fitting a carbon one
Tools needed are a Phillips Screw Driver

Pull up on the gear knob It will come off in your hand

Then pull up on this part when off release the green connector

Then remove the 2 screws You can see the Green connector on the right

Unclip the window switches on each side there are 2 clips on each side

Fit the switches in the new panel then place it down from the astray to the front then fit the 2 screws

Fit the rest of the trims not forgetting to connect the green connector
This is the finished part

I sell the carbon ones PM me for details

Default

You don't actually need to remove the gearnob Mark - you can separate the gaiter from the chrome ring and squeeze the SMG gaiter leather boot and the plastic ring through the chrome SMG gear housing and pull up and out of the way. The plastic ring on the SMG gaiter is very strong so it won't break - just squeez it enough to feed through the Chrome ring.
