Another CSL in Australia
Got some nice piccies taken today of the CSL at the parent's place. Sadly she is up for sale, but in no hurry to move along
Originally from NZ (9 of 10 apparently). Brought over by the last owner a few years ago. Was his daily drive for a while, and now I just use it to get breakfast with the boys up the mountains every few weeks. Love it. |

Asking $85k. Market seems to be high $60k's for UK import, and just under $100k for Aus delivered with less than 100,000km on them. Mines got 78K or so.

Wait for right buyer and push into the high 90s mate. Oz prices seem to have fallen slightly the past few years. Given that UK prices have gone up 5-10k in the last 12 months, and with only 27 cars in Oz, why shouldn't you get a high price. 78000km (48k miles) is is also fairly low mileage these days.

^ Yes, that would appear to be the logic but unfortunately CSLs here in Australia are heavily underappreciated. It took me 6 months to sell mine and it had 47000km (29k miles). No way did I get high 90s for it.

Unsalted roads is a good point.
Would also be interested to know what you got for yours Brandtner. PM if you feel comfortable telling. I will return home to Oz one day, and debating weather to take the UK car (low mileage, know the car, any issues sorted by now) with me or source a good OZ one. How have the boot floors faired in Oz? Did anyone get theirs inspected or replaced? Last edited by JBird; 24-09-2014 at 12:32 PM. |

I haven't heard of any local CSL's needing the floors replaced. I have seen some 'normal' E46 M3's having the fix. Mine has been inspected a few times and no signs of any cracking. |
