Default BMW approved used warranty to start 1 month after purchase?

is this a new thing?

Cheers!

So what you are saying is that you purchased the car from BMW and they have told you the warrenty will not start until a month after you picked it up........never heard that one before.

Unless there is still a month left on the old warrenty maybe!!!!!Strange one that.

Sorry guys.... thats exactly what I am saying.

Apparently you can not make a claim until 1 month after the purchase date.

I fail to see how this works? As an example... I spin a shell after 1 week of ownership?? what happens then?

I will have more details in the morning but a mate at BMW advised me of this this evening.

I will keep you posted.

Unless the bmw garage that sold the CSL to you dont get the claim
from bmw UK if it needs anything with in the first month.

I have never heard this before.

This sounds about right, the selling dealer must have to take the responsibility in the first month?

The dealer is being very good and has said they will contact the supplying dealer.

The engine is occasionally hunting for the right tickover.

My old Z3 M Coupe did this and I think it was a potentiometer.

I have also asked them to check out the power steering as its fairly noisy on lock.

Hmm, the only 'one month' early item is that you can 'renew' one month early.

Sorry missed your call earlier dude.
