Orange indicater on constantly
Gents
Can you help I have a side light out indicated on the dash That comes and goes every now and then, When it shows up and I put the side lights on the RH indicater Comes on constantly illuminated not flashing only on the front, If I put head lights in indicater goes off ?? Any ideas ?? It's not the bulb because next time it could be fine What do you reckon ?

Since you're adamant it's not the bulb I'd say it's a sticky indicator stalk mate due to dust build up at the base of the said indicator stalk.
I've had similar happen on one of my VAG daily donkeys. A few squirts from a can of compressed air with a long reach nozzle got it sorted

I had the same thing on mine and it was an intermittent side-light bulb.

As others have said it's either a side light bulb or the indicator bulb blown or having an intermittent connection.

When the indicatorlamp is on constantly, it takes a function of normal light.
So when a normal light at the left front side is broken or has a bad contact, your indicator light turns on to replace the broke light. |
