Default Braille - Co. Feedback

Some are often quick to remark on a company who fail to meet their expectations and not enough praise is given to those who seem to impress.

After reading an earlier battery related thread, I thought I would just jump in to mention Braille's excellent service I received after my battery gave up on me and only had a couple of days to get it turned round to get me back out to the Ring in time for the weekend.

Despite my battery exceeding its 1 year Warranty, Nick @ Braille without any questions asked didn't hesitate to get it sorted.

After sending it back for him to run some tests on it, he confirmed it was not holding its charge and was suggested it may have been down to me letting it go flat accidentally on a couple of occasions. This resulted in it not being able to get back up.

A brand new one was sent out same day and I was up and running.

Would recommend highly!

Mine died a death, need a new one, is it still LSV that sell them? Heard something dodgy went on?

Might try a li-ion next time (non Braille).

Hmmm, great customer service aside it doesn't seem like the Braille works to well in the CSL?

They are fine if you keep the battery on a pulse charger between use. With the AGM (absorbed glass mat) which the Braille's are, constant deep discharge and jump start / fast re-charge doesn't help longevity.

Kindest

Jonathan

Ps. Customer service is excellent BTW when I had an issue with the securing bracket.

In all fairness my car hasn't been driven since July 2010 so I wasn't having a go at them, not sure what to replace it with though.

In that case, you sent it back Shimmy? They can run some diagnostics on
them.

Best J.

Shim, did Ant plug your car in to wipe fault codes? He has a habit of leaving the ignition on for a long time when doing this. Very often runs the battery flat. Did the same to mine the week before you popped down. Just saying it may not be the fault of battery.
