Default Oi Garage Queens!

For those of you who store over winter time , curious to know how far you go to prepare for a long term store (say 4-6+ months).
Usual stuff of over inflating tyres/ rolling car every so often (aprox. 30 days), run car upto temp/ rolling road session (aprox. 30day), conditioning battery or even taking out + conditioning, fill fuel tank to brim etc But... Do you go as far as changing engine oil before sitting idle for the whole period?

Mine is on a SORN from the end of this month Need to sort something out with the battery as if you leave it more than 2 weeks, it won't start. And it is relatively new, and a larger one. Husband was going to get some charger thing for it to stop battery going dead. Give it a good clean and away she goes.... that was all...

try not to leave tooooo much fuel in for a long period of time, modern day fuels leave a sediment in the bottom of the tank etc if left, almost turning to a gel

Also, forget the running it up to temp in the garage. Really bad practice for engines. Best way to warm an engine is gentle driving and if your not doing that you risk more bore washing with extended idling doing much more harm than good. No harm at all leaving a modern engine off for 4-5 months at a time. Leave as little fuel in as possible. As mentioned above, modern fuel goes off quite quickly.

Just store it, trickle charge the battery with a Ctek or similar, make sure handbrake is off and don't wash it and leave rusty wet discs to bind up and it'll be just fine.

Ive heard quite the opposite regards fuel. I was told a tank should be filled full to prevent corrosion on the inside of the tank and additives can be added in addition. + Engine oil ideally being replaced with fresh stuff too, due to contaminants found in old oil & if left over time can cause corrosion/rust to inside of engine, but can see this having affect on a car left for a longer period of time. Was wondering if shocks would benefit if car was raised from ground, allowing them to sit in their natural off load position, esp Coilovers.
