OEM Brake Upgrade - Advice needed
Hey guys,
Currently i am using the oem pads and brakes on the car. But my rear discs and pads need to be replaced soon, fronts are ok still. What is the sensible thing to do at this point? Although i've never been on the track before, i do plan to do a couple of trackdays this year. But i am a complete novice, therefore i don't want to spend a load of cash on ap's because i am sure i don't need them yet. Are there any pads that work good with OEM discs on the track? Sorry if those questions were already answered in the past, but i've used the search and couldn't find a thread related to mine.

Hello mate
best combination for standard brake set up is uprate the fluid and put braded lines on the car, Pagid RS29 pads in standard callipers. I have a set of RS29 front pads for standard callipers with loads of life left in them approx 9-10mm if your interested PM me iv also go braded lines for the front and rear come to think of it. cheers

Thanks for the input guys, problem is the pagids are not road legal.
I mostly drive on country roads, do the pagids work when they are cold? @jon When i made my mind up, i'll pm you about your pads.

Ok, after a lot of research i came to the conclusion that the oem dics with pagid rs29, braided brake lines and ate brake fluid should work fine for the occasional track day.
Thanks guys
