Dremel 4000 - buy or not to buy?

I wanted to get some advice before I buy a Dremel. I assume it is the 4000 or a cordless 8200. Are there any better imitators about or is this about as good as it gets. I am going to use it to remove individual tiles from the shower cubicle as some have cracked and as the water is seeping in and so more expansion and cracking.

It is driving me mad. I have other uses for it too so hopefully not a complete waste of money.

Any comments from users - ?

I brought a Dremel 4000 Multitool inc 65 piece accessories. (Comes with hard case) Paid £101 inc delivery back in 2011. Brilliant and powerful kit Revs from 5,000-35,000 RPM.. "Goes through bone like butter!"

Personally think Dremel worth the extra £, had mine now(not a 4000?) for over 15yrs - no problems - Fantastic
...you'll find yourself polishing and cutting things you didn't know you had - mine has helped rebuild a Norton Commando & 90% of a Westfield amongst other things (there wasn't a-get-a-life smilie)

Cheers KarbonKid, it is probably a little more erganomic to use within the confines of a shower cubicle whether I am standing still/Stihl or not and even if on the phone .

As Vic says, but get a dremel anyway they are great you can use it to strim the grout out carefully

They're really handy for a spot of polishing on the oil filter housing and Vanos unit too...
