is there any way of getting noisy exhausts checked before a track day,I know there is an iPhone db app but I don't know if its any good,my new one is quite loud too.How far do they hold it away and at what Revs.

it is meant to be 0.5m at 45degees 3/4 rev limit

Snett make you do 6000rpm whereas Bedford 4500rpm, mainly because they know only driveby is really relevant

Just make sure it's nice and warm. It's louder when cold. Very snarly, but quietens right down when hot.

I've never had an issue and iirc last time out at oulton it was 97db with 100 cell cats and resonated centre.
