This is the solution....£35K will get you a great example that you can use And the Mini stays as a fantastic no2 toy. A £50K garage queen will just bring buckets of stress worrying about adding miles or breaching a mileage figure that lops £10k off the value. Before you know it, it's in a carcoon and you get to look at it twice a year!!! |

Points taken, thank you.
Last thing I'd want a car to be is a garage queen. I think I'll be sticking with my original plan ![]() |

Back to something posted early in the thread ( ref mirrors )
Found the width of a csl to 1780mm and no doubt the mirrors will need to be added to that. As someone has answered they fold up and inwards but, my query is, how much do they fold in? Had a measure today of the entrance to the garage where it will be kept when off the road and the "tight" entrance gap mentioned earlier is 2200mm. Any educated guesses if it will fit? Once through the gap there is more than enough space as it opens out. |

Look Here Page 151
Because of the shape of the body i'm sure when you fold them in its pretty close to the 1,780mm you mentioned. |

Been out for a bit of a blast in the GP.
Makes me wonder why I even considered selling it. Maybe away too much and forgetting how good it actually is. Be a wonderful car to run alongside a CSL. |

Just had a good run in cesil & the gp this afternoon. Great fun in differnt ways. Must get the cups back on soon. Too much wheel spin in lower gears with the sports.

Lads, going to swap out the RFTs on the GP, and keeping standard wheels on it. Any recommendations? I see I can get MPSS in 205/40-18, and love them on the Cesil, but is there anything else I'm missing?

Going to a 35 profile with the std suspension set up will likely make you a regular customer at your dental surgery. I run AD08s currently, although on 17s, but with my GP likely to be stashed away for the summer months will be replacing with MPSS when needed. |
