Hi to All,
I thought it was time to introduce myself as I had signed up to the forums back in July as I wanted to see how active the CSL community is and it certainly is with a fair few Characters The name is Chris and I am based in SE London (Bromley area) and I work in the IT Sector. I have been wanting a CSL ever since they first came onto the scene but due to work and other reasons (kids, Houses, etc) I have always had to put it on the back burner. Now in the last 6 odd months the urge is there to finally get the Car I want. However I am no expert in Purchase of Cars etc and this was part reason for a bit of sitting in the background and learning as much as I could on the pros and cons of the CSL. I paid up my Membership as I am going I hope to be a active member and from there to pop the old cherry on a track day or 2 with you orrible lot (The Elms and Southend trips sounded fun from what I read also). So I am hoping you lot will take us under your wing at the start as I will be looking to purchase the Car before Christmas and any help in Info on the Car (I think Shimmys department ) will be grateful and returned in kind. What I am looking for is a Sub 60k SG Car FSH (just for the warranty side tbh) and I have double checked it is the faster of the 2 colours . So over the next 2-3 weeks I might be posting away like mad or PM's sent asking for Info or help though as said I will make it worth while I already have one CSL that I am intrested in near Oxford but at moment I am trying to get the Histroy etc all together. I think due to change of owners with this car it is likley to have been on cslregister at some point. |

Yep, I'd second that Azraels (Steve's) CSL is a good one and extremely well priced

Yeap Seen Azraels car it looks nice if I was ready to purchase today (funds will be cleared in 7-14 days) I would go have a look, However the Black wheels do not really do it for me and I would need to spend a few £'s more on refurb, Tyres etc. Though Saying that I have seen Az's Post on PH with the Extras and Prehaps if its still around I will give him a PM concerning it (though I doubt it will be around that long )
thanks Shimmy though for the reply, also what would you need info wise on a Car to look through your History database etc? Oh a quck edit while I was writing this I see 2 welcome posts cslgirl- Thanks and yeap Work in Bromley though live just south of Bromley near a Airfield and Matt I am just itiching to get the everything in place so I can get the CSL and this is the sort of recommendations that I was hoping to see from what it seems a good bunch of People. We will just have to wait and see Last edited by Chris-CSL; 02-12-2011 at 09:45 PM. |

Welcome to the Forum Chris, and good luck in the finding the right car.
There's a few good one's for sale at the moment, Azrael is one of them. To be honest, maybe someone would be interested in swapping the wheels with OEM Silver CSL's, you just never know your luck. Someone fancying a change, whatever. Worth thinking about. |

Hi chaps,
Want to say hello I picked up my CSL last week and I've got to say it's the best car I've ever driven! I've gone through a few cars in the last couple of years and never found anything that I've opened the garage door after the 3rd time and think yes I really want to go for a drive. I've got to say I cant see myself selling it, it's just too good! As it's a weekend car I struggled to find the time to use my previous cars but I don't think the CSL will have time to collect dust! Only one thing I have found is that at ahem higher speeds when I brake there is a bit of kidder but then at lower speeds its gone? Any ideas? I live in Milton Keynes so hope to see some of you out and about! Look forward to some good banter! Luke |
