If you don't have any ducting then I'd say you might wanna give it a go, the back of your brakes are obviously getting too hot. I bought some for the sake of £35 and some time fitting it it'll hopefully keep my brakes cooler and prevent anything like this.

how do you get ducting to your rear discs?

Sorry didn't realise we were talking about rears, I thought you meant rear pads as in the front inside ones

Heat sensitive paint, innit, so you can tell how hot the disc is getting.

Those rear AP discs were put on in March 2009, had done 42 track events (inc training days and sprints) plus a whole load of road miles, and I have gone thru 7 sets of rear pads in that time inc ds2500, rs29 and rs15.
