I have to eat my words a bit I think.

After keeping an eye on auctions, dealer cars and private ads - I wouldn't be surprised to see £50k being the new £40k in 2016/17 as the pool of cars shrinks every tighter.

Result for sellers and investors, bad news for users.

If I was in the market again, DU-VAY would be in my garage and its thread dead by Reply 1.

Mine will be available from October.

Front bumper just painted. Approx £25k just spent on it at BMW Elms. Still under Full BMW warranty.
45k miles and just had brand new engine (caused by headgasket failure), alternator, power steering pump, floor repaired, bushes, suspension and springs all round, brake pads and front discs, plus brand new CSL rims as I specifically wanted OEM finish, new Goodyear Eagle F1's all round, car is original OEM, I am the 4th owner and owned the car for 4 years +.

Needs nothing, all BMW receipts to back up work, FSH and MOT'd at Bartletts and checked over by Gareth & Damian. New engine has 400miles left and will be run in and serviced by BMW Elms.

Offers invited and viewing welcome in October, first come first serve basis.

sounds promising. Hope it all pans out.

Mr. Rchamps81 would also need to join the forum.

All part of the DUVAY international potential owner vetting process.

Big fan of DU-VAY, but I'm remortgaging my house to a nwe fixed rate in early October so want to get this finalised before I buy a new car... Suspect as it's such a lovely example that it will be long gone by then, additionally, I don't really have a lot of spare time to prep for the New Owners Interview...

billyboysM3 - any chance you can PM me an idea of what you're looking for for yours (ball park figure)?

MC

2 years ago you could buy a 100K miles plus csl for £20-£22K.

This is no longer the case with 90K miles cars of the right pedigree commanding twice the 2013 price of similar mileage cars.

Thankfully the mileage vs. price ratio that once benchmarked prices is long gone.

Of course you will occasionally see the uber low mileage cars come up for sale and fetch lottery money figures, but these are becoming even rarer now the csl approaches it's 13th anniversary.

I think prices now are headed by condition first and foremost with the mileage being more of a foot note.

IMHO this is a far better situation for current csl owners.

Not too good for the buyers
