One thing at a time guys There's no point of me ordering moulds to be made when his current workloads means more than a month to get a mould done

I have however finalised the pricing on the "Gloss" finished rear console ...

£335 is the best I can get him to do it guys .. and we are looking at April production with his current load of work.

So those no longer keen please let me know.

Tom - Tangents just you just love them
That's good news on the consoles, they're good to go.
PM when you want some money.

Hi all

Slightly bad news ... I am going to have to put this group buy on hold for a moment as the guy that I had lined up to make this has been quite difficult to deal with and hasn't turned out to be the person I was told he was originally.

I've been scratching my head over this one as for some reason he's willing to let this reasonably sized order (and future orders) go without any justifiable reason. Basically I think he has way too much work on and he can't be bothered with such a small console (there's probably bigger margins for him in making motorsport bumpers, doors, boots, hood and roof) - I honestly don't know.

Not all is lost however, I have another builder of the same caliber, but he's located on the opposite end of the Country to me, similarly priced and his work just as good if not better. He is however booked up with work until end of April, so I am going to have another crack with him and see if he can squeez this in earlier given the size of the order.

Alternatively I've also been provided another source by another friend. Apparently this guy used to work for the Sauber F1 team and did carbon fiber work for them - he now lives in New Zealand and works for a big super yacht company here. He is luckily located in the same town as me, so I will go and approach him and see if he has the time and willingness to take on this work.

Bear with me and apologies again. Will keep all updated

No problem, it's managed without one since it came off the production line in 03, what's a few more weeks/months in the scale of things.
