Moved on to MkII today....
Fitted the standard plate holder with some magnets so that it looks completely OEM, but pops off when required. Much better Sorry pics not great.

I Like! So you have 3x magnets glued to the inside of the bumper and the 3x to the plate holder shown? I have a vinyl plate under my OEM plate, which I keep forgetting. Gotta be at least 1kg saving!

That looks like a great idea, I might this myself. Top advice Mole.
Only thing that might bother me is that fact that it can be removed so easily, thieving? I suppose like most here, car is never left anywhere for any length of time and you could always whip is off yourself and stick it in the boot! |
