Since Cooper is actually my local dealer, and I called them last in the hope of getting them to price match with the lowest quote, I'd say that was a bloody good result.

Have I missed something as I didnt see what Murks price was.
Whilst I appreciate that getting the lowest price is usually the name of the game, given the great service that Murks have given me recently, I feel it only fair to give them the non warranty business, even if they do turn out to be slightly dearer. As a business man myself I would be pretty miffed if someone who has been looked after as I have been, buggered off somewhere else to get service or non-warranty work done. Granted I am a special case !! ....in more ways than one !

I phoned Cotswold not so long ago,and they told me £800.Anybody know what Murketts charge for insp2.

I think it's about £850 ish but I'm sure he'll price match for SPECIAL cases Murketts are one of very few BMW main dealers that offer "SIX plus" discount program, for which most CSLs qualify
