Again some decent progress over the weekend. Its getting close to going for paint now.

Replaced the flange on the exhaust center to rear silencer joint as it was non existent after 11yrs. Also fixed a small hole that had appeared in the center silencer.

This took the majority of Saturday afternoon to complete but worth the effort I think.

I have always taken stick from pals about having a Scorpion on the car and not a Supersprint or the likes but in fairness to Scorpion my £400 back box is still looking pretty decent after 11yrs

Exhaust clamps / flanges upon removal (usual)

The repaired hole in the center silencer

New OEM clamp fitted to flanged side of the system

Exhaust all bolted up into final position using new bolts, gaskets etc etc

Front end next so Back Plates, bearings and build up the brakes.

Also dragged this thing out of the corner it's been sitting in for the last 18 months.

Need the CSL off the ramp so I can get this thing done for the race season.

Not really much to update as busy with house stuff at the minute but here is the current status.

Bit the bullet and just ordered up a new OEM Oil Cooler.
Got that all fitted up and have to say it does look good with all new rads / coolers etc in there. No flies, grime etc

Then turned my attention to the underside plastics for the tank. These were covered in what I can only assume was some kind of hardened waxoil. It required a scraper to come off and was no more waxy than a concrete slab.

All cleaned up well though and looking decent.

Next step is to get some fluids back in and get it fired up then off to the paint shop to get the bodywork done.

Nearly there
