Thanks guys!
So i'm back in Norway after two amazing days at the Nürburgring. The weather was incredible, the car felt great, people was nice. All in all just perfect. This was the first test for the M3-R. It held up pretty good. Didn't start that good though. On the first lap i had a terrible vibration in the front. Cause I use spacers up front, i didn't get the wheel centered when putting it on. I dropped the spacer and the vibration went away. On the second lap this happened... The new bumper couldn't manage the downforce it produced so it crashed when i got over 200km/h. Had to cut it a bit. On the third lap i felt the car wasn't running cleen when accelerating. Popped the engine cover, and it turned out to be a coil that wasn't propperly in place. Changed that and everything runned smooth. I suffered from high oil temp the entire two days, so i couldn't push very hard, had to short shift and use half trottle on the climbing parts and straights. I've ordered a oil diverter valve so all of the oil will be running through the oil cooler in the future. Hoping that will fix it. The servo pump kicked the bucket after two hard days, going to buy a new one and hoping it will last in the future. So to sum it up, it was some small problems in the start of the first day. After lunch on the first day everything went smooth, and the second day went great. The servo didn't cause any down time on the car, only made my overarms pretty big... ![]() Here's a couple of pics and a vid where a friend riding shotgun. (Sorry for the bright video, the weather was just to good for the gopro cam.. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

New update... Ordered another set of ARC-8 wheels from Apex to go with the rain tires. Great service, and the set shipped within an hour after my order. 100%
I also installed the new bumper from PeeBee motorsport. Here's a couple of pics of how the car looks now. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Also got my racing licence today. Three weeks to first race, looking forward to it! |

Thanks guys!
This week has been a productive one. I got a race licens for the car. The new Apex wheels showed up, and I've ordered two sets of new Michelin racing tires. 1 set of wets and 1 set of slicks. Installed a Setrab oilcooler to run in series with the vac cooler i got from earlier Here's a pic of the new oil cooler. ![]() Also made a piece to wrap the inside of the doors Here's a before picture of the door ![]() And here's the after picture ![]() |
