Do you know this for fact, as it could have been there when it was sold 7 months ago.

Either way it requires a thorough and satisfactory explaination.

I was told the same.

I've never been so pissed off with buying a car or in regards to cars. I was so close to actually scraping with the guy, his attitude was terrible and very aggressive, telling me how mint it was and will have it fully valeted for me since it's such a travel.l on the phone.

Got there and the car had bird shit all over it, dead flys, spider webs, dirt you name it, it was on the car. Interior was a joke, dirt everywhere. My White shirt after sitting on the car come out brown. I said I thought you cleaned it and he started saying he sells metal not a valeter and I dont care if it sells or not, I'll just cover it and it'll make money in years to come blah blah and got all pissed off. This is a shorten version but honestly pissed off doesn't describe how I feel.

It's even put me off one the state of his. I might end up going for another type of Japanese car but will see once I'm home tomorrow.

Thats pretty crap mate, some right to$$ers out there.

Stick to your guns and dont let something like this put you off, when you get the right one and spend some quality time behind the wheel you will love it.
I've now had mine for over 2 1/2 yrs and love it to bits. Years of Cosworth, Evo and Subaru ownership (almost every type of cossie, an evo VII RSII and a 22b) and it would take a hell of alot to send me back there.

Sorry to hear this, but just read this thread from the top and by page 2 it seemed there was only going to be outcome....

I think the guys will endorse the following:

1. Try and view/buy a known forum car where possible
2. Avoid eBay unless it is for a car that is also advertised within a known web community - there may be a reason why it is ONLY advertised on eBay.
3. If you're gut feel is wrong - walk away
4. Be patient - these cars are rare. Of 422, I'd speculate that there will be a story associated with 30-40% of them (including those RIP).
5. Despite the above, cash remains king. Economy is fooked so never EVER pay over odds. Customer is king right now.

Good luck
