Doubt it for £25.

It may turn on ignition but wont give drive authorisation to immobiliser module, as dont think they have internal gubbons.

Just go to a key cutters and get a blade cut, just in case blade. Simple

All sorted now, keys now out of boot lol, and a spare key.

Big thanks to Dick Lovett BMW Swindon for all their help and getting the new key to me in under 24 hours.
And a big thank you to all on this forum for all your help.

yep plastic key drives car ok, you just have to read manual book to void having to drive with the alarm going off every 2 minutes
